So Smallville has been picked up for another season but we don’t know if Allison will be back next year.

They don’t call him Superman for nothing.

The CW has renewed long-running cult-hit Smallville for a remarkable 10th season. The program, which premiered in 2001, moved to Friday nights this season, where it has significantly improved time-slot ratings against last year.

Insiders confirm that the 10th season will be a full 22-episode order; no word yet on if next year will be designed as a “wrap-up season” or if the powers that be are planning to wait and see about the ratings before making any story decisions.

The official Smallville writers account just tweeted, “SEASON 10 IS A GO!”

The show, starring Tom Welling as Clark Kent, originally focused on the life of a Kansas farm kid, but in recent years the series action has moved east to Metropolis, where young Supes has begun to embrace his destiny and live the legend of America’s foremost superhero.

Who knows, maybe season 10 is the year that “the blur” becomes Superman?

The CW previously issued early pickups for five other shows, including scripted Gossip Girl, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and 90210.

There are no words to describe the hotness and the chemistry that is Chloe/AM and Oliver/JH. I literally melted during their almost kiss. Damn they are hot. So hot that this is all I can write at the moment

OMG! I think I died while watching this episode. That last Chloe&Oliver scene was just all kinds of HOT and AWESOME and AMAZING and ….. Seriously that chemistry is off the charts and I can’t wait to see where this is going. AM&JH own my heart

All in all I really enjoyed this episode. AM did a wonderful job directing and I liked seeing Chloe having fun again. Also finally a Chl-Lo scene. I missed them so much and was getting sick and tired of them not sharing any scenes together.

AM looked gorgeous as always esp in that last scene with Ollie. She was glowing and looked sexy as hell and she was wearing green God I can’t get over how awesome they are together. 3 years I’ve been waiting and it was totally worth the wait!
